Gay Limbo

boysbriefs: Gay Limbo: "Our latest conversation, which reconvened just as coffee arrived, turned toward our place in gay society. To which niche do we belong? Like me, Sean is a refugee of the party circuit, and we're both patiently awaiting whatever comes next. So far it seems to have eluded us.

I told him how I initially thought I could remain active in the party scene but forgo some of its more toxic trespasses. That proved difficult. The last time I went out, the music was far too loud to talk to anyone I wanted to see or they were too tweaked to carry on a meaningful conversation. Greetings consisted of 'Girl, where you been? We haven't seen you in months' followed by such colorful maxims as 'I'm rolling my titties off!' By the time the third person asked me if they knew where to score some G, I decided to leave."
