Queerty - The blog for gays and lesbians

Queerty - The blog for gays and lesbians: "If those pesky man-on-woman sex scenes in Brokeback Mountain were too much for you to handle, censors in India are on your side.

Strict obscenity laws forbid female nudity and male/female sexual content, and those scenes were removed from Brokeback's Indian release. No such laws exist about male nudity or male on-screen sexuality, however--so all the gay sex scenes are still in.

We love this little legal loophole in India's laws, since real-life homosexuality is illegal in the country and can carry a 10-year prison sentence. The moral: You can't watch what you can do, but you can't do what you can watch."
